October 25th, 2011 - 4:21 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, Oct 25 (IANS) China is going to better manage its army’s assets, authorities said.
The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has moved to better manage its assets in an effort to promote scientific development of the nation’s military sector, according to the Central Military Commission (CMC), reported Xinhua.
The effort will be to modernise management by taking into account the past experience and the requirements of the new era, the military’s mission, and both military and civil purposes.
The army should better utilize its assets and budgetary funds, particularly funds that are used for implementing major programmes, it said.
