Madrid, April 1 (Xinhua) China, India and Mexico are the most favoured among the developing economies by Spanish investors, the ABC Spanish daily reported Tuesday. Some 81 percent of Spanish companies plan to invest in India and Mexico, while 86 percent prefer China as their investment destination, the daily quoted an Ernst & Young survey as saying.

The survey was based on interviews with more than 900 senior executives of Spanish multinational companies.

Russia (59 percent), Poland (51 percent), Argentina and Brazil (30 percent) are the other overseas investment markets favoured by Spanish companies, the survey said.

When choosing overseas markets for investment, Spanish firms consider several key factors, such as potential of market scales, yield from investment, costs and easy communication.
