Chelsea Clinton on crutches

April 18, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Daughter of former president, Bill Clinton, and current secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, was seen wearing a plastic cast and walking with crutches in New York recently. According to reports Chelsea has no idea how this happened and she went to the doctor only after feeling increasing pain in her heel. The doctor told her that she has a broken her heel and it will be sometime before she fully recovers.
Even though pictures of Clinton hobbling around New York City hit public eyes only recently, the news had been reported on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter as early as April 3rd, bringing in many comments and best wishes from her numerous followers.
It is well known that Chelsea has always kept a low profile from the media, even from her father’s time in office, and even now, she is hardly in the limelight.
Though Clinton seems to be taking the injury in stride, many are concerned about her upcoming summer wedding to investment banker, Marc Mezvinsky, whom she became close friends with during their time together at Stanford University. Chelsea and Marc announced their engagement last Thanksgiving, and will be getting married this summer.
Despite being injured, Clinton is not letting her spirits get dampened, and is looking forward to her wedding. In fact, she still attending classes at the Soul Cycle spin studio and is continuing with preparations for her wedding in full swing.
Both the bride and groom, as well as their friends and families are hoping that she will be rid of the cast well before walking down the aisle.
