Cancer-stricken Jade Goody to lose her Bentley convertible
December 18th, 2008 - 12:35 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Dec 18 (IANS) Jade Goody is in danger of losing her Bentley convertible after a finance firm started repossession proceedings.The reality television star, who is fighting cervical cancer, is believed to have fallen behind with payments.
A spokesman for Lombard said: “An instruction to repossess has been issued as a last resort because of the failure by Goody to meet the terms of the contract.”
But her spokesman said: “While she was in hospital, someone else was making the payments and there seems to have been a mistake.
“But the situation is now being sorted. Jade doesn’t have any financial problems.”
It is the latest blow for Jade, who was diagnosed with cancer while on India’s version of TV show Big Brother. She has already had a hysterectomy and is having chemotherapy.
