Cameron Diaz shies away from ‘Shrek the musical’

London, Dec 15 (IANS) Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz says she has no desire to star in the musical adaptation of the Oscar-winning animated series “Shrek”.Diaz, who voices the character of Princess Fiona in the film, says she is a big fan of the musical but said the job of stage actors “is, to me, impossible”, reports dailymail.co.uk.
But Diaz gives voice over for Fiona in the fourth “Shrek” film, which is slated for release in 2010.
Tony award winning actress Sutton Foster plays Fiona in the stage version that had its preview performance last month at the Broadway Theatre.
