01471 Flagstaff, Jun 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A Californian man has been charged with the Flagstaff wildfire case. There had been a huge wildfire in Flagstaff, which seemed quite suspicious to the local authorities. So in order to rest their doubts, they launched an investigation.

When they investigated the massive fire, then they detained a suspect on Sunday. The 54 years old Randall Wayne Nicholson has now being charged in the case, and it also been held at the Coconino County Detention Facility. He was also taken before the judge, and the judge has fixed his bail amount at $2,500.

According to reports Randall was camping in the region when he didn’t put out the hot burning coals, which he had used, in a campfire. So after he left the camping site, the burning coals triggered off a fire, as that region was dry and was quick to light up.

However the police believe that the act on the part of Randall was pure carelessness and they don’t believe that it was his intention to set the area on fire, so they also don’t find any sense in keeping him in their custody.

The laws of the Arizona state proclaim such an offense to be a Class II misdemeanor, which has a minimum fine of $750 and a prison sentence of at least 4 months.
