Butcher breaks world record for cutting longest ham slice
October 30th, 2009 - 2:12 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Oct 30 (ANI): A butcher has set a new world record by cutting the longest slice of ham.
Nico Jimenez cut a single 20metre long ham slice to enter the Guinness World Records.
And using the single slice of ham, the cook made a 120ft long bar snack known locally as a ‘pincho’.
“We sold the sandwich at one Euro per portion and gave the money to charity. Nico is delighted to have made the record books,” the Daily Express quoted an organiser of the event as telling the Austrian Times.
Jimenez also bagged his second world record when he made the longest ham sandwich in the world at Pamplona, Spain. (ANI)
