Barack Obama London, Nov 6 (ANI): Former US President George W Bush has refused to bash President Barack Obama on the “Oprah” show, saying he is treating his successor Obama as “the way I’d like to have been treated.”

In a taped interview that would be aired on November 9, Bush told the television host Winfrey that: “I don’t think it’s good for a former president to be out there opining on every darned issue. He’s got a plenty tough job. Trust me. And there’s gonna be plenty of critics, and he doesn’t need me criticizing him. And I don’t think it’s good for the presidency. Other people have a different point of view.”

Bush, who is currently promoting his new memoir “Decision Points,” declared that he is “through with politics,” and added that he does not want to predict what might happen in 2012 presidential elections, Politico reports.

On being asked to weigh in on the possibility of Sarah Palin’s 2012 presidential bid, “I am not a political pundit … I’m really not. And secondly, a lot is gonna happen between now and the nominating process. I - I have no clue.” (ANI)
