Building collapses in Cairo, casualties unknown
January 27th, 2011 - 3:22 pm ICT by BNO NewsCAIRO (BNO NEWS) — A building collapsed in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on early Thursday morning, state media said, but few details were immediately available.
The state-run Middle East News Agency (MENA) said the 12-story building collapsed in a Cairo suburb after a fire had broken out in a storage area. It said rescue workers were on the scene, but provided no other details.
