London, Sept 20 (ANI): A Buccaneer bride and groom have opted for a ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ wedding.

Mik Ashfield, 46, and Vikki Ludlow, 35 exchanged special pirate vows, hoisted a Jolly Roger, then toasted their guests with rum before setting sail into married life.

About 20 guests in full pirate gear, including muskets and cutlasses, turned out to see the couple dressed as Cap’n Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann get spliced at Clovelly, a famed smugglers’ haunt in Devon.

The couple is part of a group of medics who dress up as ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ characters every September to raise thousands of pounds for Cancer Research.

“We love Clovelly and thought it would be a cool place to get married,” the Daily Star quoted Mik, from Kidlington, Oxon as saying.

After the wedding, the couple had a trip on a historic schooner, the Kathleen and May, anchored at nearby Bideford. (ANI)
