London, February 23 (ANI):
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has refused to launch an inquiry after senior
staff was reportedly disciplined for bullying and harassing colleagues.
Up to four employees, who
either worked in Downing Street or the adjoining Cabinet Office, were said to
have faced disciplinary action.
The Prime Minster was
criticised for giving a thumbs down to a full probe into the aggression claims.
“We don’t see any
need to have an inquiry,” The Sun quoted his official spokesman as saying.
Political commentator
Andrew Rawnsley accused Brown of verbally attacking and manhandling employees
in a new book The End Of The Party.
Brown is said to have
displayed his alleged “abusive” behaviour and “volcanic
temper” on at least three occasions, a claim denied by the No. 10. (ANI)
