Briton faces more charges in Kenyan court
January 13th, 2012 - 5:59 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Mombasa (Kenya), Jan 13 (IANS) A British national jailed for three years early this month in Kenya has again been arraigned in court facing more charges, Xinhua reported.
Jermaine Grant, who was jailed for illegally entering the country and conspiring to commit crime, was Thursday brought before Mombasa Chief Magistrate Lillian Mutende alongside two other Kenyans. The were charged with conspiring to commit felony. They denied the charges.
Mutende adjourned the case to Feb 20 and 22.
Grant was held Dec 20 from a house in Bakarani locality with several liters of acetone, hydrogen peroxide, ammonium nitrate, sublimed sulphur and lead nitrate. Mombasa is Kenya’s second largest city.
