London, Jan.1 (ANI): Gillian Gibbons, the British teacher over whom a death sentence was hanging in Sudanese capital Khartoum for giving a stuffed teddy bear the name Mohammad, is hoping to land a new job in China
According to The Sun, the 54-year-old mother of two plans to take a stuffed bear with her.
The mum of two revealed: Ive been to China before on holiday and loved it. I know Im the most notorious teacher in the world at the moment. But Im hoping that perhaps no one has heard of me there. Im driven to follow my dream of teaching abroad again.
Gillian, of Liverpool, was pardoned by Sudans president and freed last month after serving a third of a 15-day sentence.
She insisted that her ordeal had not put her off travelling. (ANI)
