Brit ministers ‘want wigs of better quality’
November 7th, 2010 - 4:36 pm ICT by ANILondon, Nov 07 (ANI): For the first time ever, Brit ministers have insisted that the wigs provided by the NHS should be of better quality.
In a cross-party Parliamentary motion, signed by 25 MPs, they have insisted that the quality of natural hair wigs for those suffering from cancer or alopecia, should be good, reports the Daily Express.
The NHS has limited wig services and patients are often provided with ill-fitting acrylic hairpieces, usually unflattering and the cause of discomfort.
As a result, the hairdresser Trevor Sorbie has founded a charity called My New Hair, which provides hair-loss victims with a range of wigs that have been expertly styled to appear as natural as possible. (ANI)
