London, Mar 8 (ANI): A British mother got the shock of her life when she learnt that her husband fathered her first grandchild.

Forty-year-old Teresa Peck’s spouse Neil Spencer had a four-year affair with her daughter Chantelle.

However, Peck, from Buckhurst Hill, Essex, came to know the truth when Chantelle gave birth to her child Daisy.

“Neil was more like an attentive father than a grandad. When Chantelle was in labour he was in a right state,” the Sun quoted Peck as saying.

She added: “When I saw Daisy I was worried. She had red hair like Neil’s children and was the image of him.

“I asked them if anything had gone on but they accused me of being sick and said I was paranoid.

“I adored Daisy so I put my worries to the back of my mind.”

Peck was made aware of her husband and daughter’s affair, after Chantelle confessed to an aunt.

Teresa said: “It was a terrible betrayal. I chucked Neil out immediately. I can’t understand Chantelle either. When Neil and me were together Daisy called him grandad. Now she calls him dad.”

Meanwhile, Chantelle and Spencer are expecting a second child, even though they have parted ways.

Chantelle said: “I expect people will think I’m awful and will say terrible things about me.” (ANI)
