London, Jan. 15 (ANI): Radical Islamic preacher Anjem Choudary’s terror network has been exposed, revealing that the fanatic has links with at least 21 terrorists, including a suicide bomber in Israel.
Two of his contacts have died fighting for the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile 17 have been convicted of crimes including inciting murder, stirring up race hatred and firebombing.
There are fears that he could also be linked to the 7/7 London bombings, The Sun reports.
The shocking links were revealed by the Centre for Social Cohesion in a report called Islamist Terrorism Worldwide: The British Connections.
Mohammed Siddique Khan - the suicide squad’s leader - is thought to have received explosives training thanks to Choudary’s devotees.
Khan went to a camp in Pakistan run by members of a banned organisation in which the preacher played a key role.
Omar Khyam and three others serving life for plotting to blow up Kent’s Bluewater shopping centre were ALSO recruited by the group, called Al-Muhajiroun.
However, Choudary, 43, shrugged off his ties to convicted terrorists, saying “They’re innocent.”
Police are probing an extremist rally last month where Choudary shared a platform with two who served time for terrorism. (ANI)
