London, Feb 12 (ANI): A couple in Britain has been arrested after they were caught having sex in a graveyard in broad daylight and in full view of pupils and staff at a top grammar school.

Andrew Donaldson, 41, and Karen Waters, 43, were spotted by shocked pupils, teachers and parents, and they were arrested after staff at posh Reigate Grammar School, in Surrey rang 999.

The couple, who claimed they had been sunbathing, admitted to having “a kiss and a cuddle” and two or three beers, but denied their antics had gone any further.

During a police interview, Donaldson said he and Waters hated Britain because it was “xenophobic”.

“God, this is bloody Stepford, this town,” the Daily Mail quoted Donaldson as referring to Reigate.

“Surely public displays of affection aren’t illegal.

“I know they want them all mowing their grass at the same time, turning round at the same time, washing their cars at the same time, to pay their poll tax and being happy little citizens,” he said.

Police arrived and found Donaldson in nothing more than a pair of boxer shorts, while Waters was dressed.

Arresting officer Pc Andrew Simms said Donaldson also had his boxer shorts button undone, which “exposed” his penis.

A jury of eight women and four men at Guildford Crown Court cleared both defendants of one count, involving having sex, but they convicted them both on the charge of engaging in sexual activity in the graveyard.

“You will both receive three months imprisonment,” Judge Michael Addison said while sentencing the couple at Guildford Crown Court.

“Having said that I just feel able to suspend the imprisonment of that sentence and it will be suspended for a period of 12 months,” he added.

Donaldson has been ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work and Waters must do 80 hours. (ANI)
