Prince William New York, Mar 30 (ANI): A British brewery has come up with a beer to commemorate the royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The beer, named ‘Windsor Knot’, will make its debut next month in UK pubs, just in time for the couple’s April 29 wedding.

Developed by the newly established Windsor and Eton Brewery, ‘Windsor Knot’ contains hops from England and New Zealand to represent the vast territory of the Commonwealth.

“So we tried to design a beer that’s light in flavour and colour, so that it will appeal to a lot of people, but has also got a very memorable flavour to it,” the New York Daily News quoted Windsor and Eton Master brewer Paddy Johnson as telling a foreign news agency.

Windsor is one of many places in England that the royal family calls home, but it was once a traditional brewing town. Windsor and Eton Brewery is the first beer maker to set up shop there since 1931. (ANI)
