Bright spiralling light spotted in sky Down Under rocket, not UFO
June 6th, 2010 - 3:09 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, June 6 (ANI): A Sydney astronomer has said that a bright spiralling light spotted in the sky over eastern Australia, believed to be a UFO, was probably a rocket.
People in Victoria, New South and Queensland said that they witnessed a UFO heading east just before 6am.
However, Geoffrey Wyatt, from the Sydney Observatory, said it appeared to have been the Falcon 9 rocket launched in the United States an hour earlier.
‘It’s just gone around the world and everyone has seen it adjusting or still ascending into its orbit,’ the Age quoted him as saying. (ANI)
