Dec 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The long wait of all the fans of the Bravo culinary reality series “Top Chef” ultimately came to an end on Wednesday when the eighth season of the hit reality series made its debut on the network once again. The intense hype surrounding the latest season of the Bravo reality show was all the more as the contestants who would be vying against each other to win the much-coveted title are familiar faces who have been in the culinary competition in its previous editions.

Apart from the 18 contestants who are well-acquainted with the viewers, the eight season of the show “Top Chef: All-Stars” would have an added bonus as celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain has joined the panel of judges on the program to evaluate the culinary talents of the cheftestants. With the rest of the judges remaining the same from the previous season which includes Gail Simmons, Padma Lakshmi and Tom Colicchio, the addition of Anthony Bourdain would surely add a breath of fresh air to the latest season. With the first episode of the show which involved the elimination of season two contestant Elia Aboumrad, itself grabbing many eye-balls, one thing is for sure that the upcoming episodes of the Bravo reality series would surely be able to keep the viewers asking for more.

Although the elimination of Elia Aboumrad has indeed come as a bolt from the blue for many of the ardent viewers of the show, the drama as the rest of the contestant try their best to impress the judges and win the ‘Top Chef’ would surely make a compelling watch.
