Boy dies in escalator accident in Beijing
January 29th, 2012 - 6:17 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Beijing, Jan 29 (IANS) A nine-year-old boy died Sunday after getting stuck in an escalator at a shopping mall in Beijing, an official said.
The accident took place around 12.30 p.m. at the Xinyidai (or “New Generation”) department store, Xinhua reported.
A initial probe showed that the boy, who was taking the escalator alone, was stuck between the moving escalator and the floor and died instantly.
