Bored of celebs, Lily Allen dating house painter
July 23rd, 2009 - 1:17 pm ICT by IANSLondon, July 23 (IANS) After her break up with millionaire Jay Jopling, British singer Lily Allen was keen to date someone outside the celebrity circuit when she met Sam Cooper, a man who works as a house painter and decorator.
According to thesun.co.uk, Allen split from the 45-year-old art dealer Jopling and has now moved on to Cooper who is not connected to the entertainment world in any way. The two recently met at a restaurant in Mayfair.
A source said: “Lil is tired of only ever being involved with well-known blokes. She wanted to go out with someone her own age who isn’t involved in music or the media. Sam is really down to earth. He grafts hard for a living as a painter and decorator and leads a totally normal life. Lily is completely smitten with him. They have known each other for a while but have only just started dating properly.”
