Bomb-proof boxers perfect Xmas gift for Brit troops in Afghanistan!
December 2nd, 2010 - 6:24 pm ICT by ANILondon, Dec 2 (ANI): Bomb-proof boxer shorts seem to be the perfect gift this Christmas for the troops fighting in Afghanistan.
Wives and girlfriends, desperate for their men to return from the war zone, are snapping up the boxers to send out for Christmas, reports the Sun.
Developed by Cardiff-based firm BCB International, the 60 pounds Kevlar-lined pants are designed to protect private parts other armour doesn’t reach.
The lightweight shorts, worn under normal combat gear, shield the groin from improvised explosive devices.
“We believe they will make a real difference,” said BCB International chief Andrew Howell. (ANI)
