- Kabul, Nov.11 (ANI): The body of an American soldier who went missing in western Afghanistan last week, has been retrieved from a river in the area by military divers.
The missing soldier was one of two paratroopers, from the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, who had disappeared in Badghis province that borders Turkmenistan. CBS News quoted local police as saying that the two had been swept away by the river as they tried to recover supplies.
Afghan and international forces are still searching for the second soldier, NATO said in a statement on Tuesday. (ANI)
