Nov 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A teenage party turned out to be a deadly one when an 18 year old boy Bobby Maurice Tillman was beaten to death by four other teenage boys on Saturday night. The four attackers, Horace Damon Coleman, 19, Emanuel Benjamin Boykins, 18, Quantez Devonta Mallory, 18, and Tracen Franklin, 19, allegedly beat and kicked the 18 year old boy to death and the media outlets reported that they have been charged with one felony murder count. Douglas County Sheriff Office’s Lt. Bruce Ferguson told a reputed media source that the four accused teens were called by Bobby Tillman’s mother, who hosted the party.
Even Douglas County District Attorney David McDade said that the police will never know why the fight took place and he called it an absolutely “unprovoked” senseless killing by the teenage boys without any reason or “motive”. Lt. Bruce Ferguson, of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reportedly said that one of the attackers told his friends that he would hit the next person he saw on the road and their fun claimed Bobby Tillman’s life. Sheriff Phil Miller said that the victim was a “little guy” who was 5 feet 6 inches and weighed 125 pounds. The law enforcement officials said that they were called to the party by victims mother and they questioned 57 witnesses for their investigation.
On of the eyewitnesses, Ed Stephens said that he thought Bobby Tillman was hurt but he never thought that his life would end. Monique Rivarde, Bobby Tillman’s mother called her son a “silent hero” and asked for justice for her son. She said that her son did not die “in vain” and something should be done about young children attacking each other without any specific reason.
