Blast rocks diplomatic enclave in Afghan capital
December 15th, 2009 - 1:26 pm ICT by IANSKabul, Dec 15 (DPA) A massive explosion rocked the diplomatic enclave of Kabul city Tuesday, causing unknown casualties and damage to several cars and houses, a police official said.
The blast occurred near the Heetal hotel, which located in the Wazir Akbar Khan area that houses several embassies and international organisations, Abdul Matin, a police officer at the site of the attack, told DPA.
Reporting from site of the attack, Tolo, a private TV channel, said that at least 10 people were injured. It said that the attack took place near the residence of Ahmad Zia Massoud, a former first vice president, but he was unharmed.
