Blast in Turkey leather factory
October 4th, 2010 - 7:19 am ICT by IANSAnkara, Oct 4 (IANS) At least three people died and five were injured in a blast at a leather factory in Turkey Sunday, a media report said.
Two workers were killed when the blast occurred in the boiler room of the workshop in Guzelburc town in Hatay province, the Anatolia news agency reported, adding that a truck in front of the building caught fire, killing the driver inside.
The fire has been put under control, Xinhua reported.
There was no statement from officials on the cause of the explosion.
