Bin-Laden’s 12-year-old daughter saw father being shot
May 4th, 2011 - 1:07 pm ICT by ANIWashington, May 4 (ANI): Osama bin-Laden’s 12-year-old daughter had reportedly seen her father being shot by the US Navy Seals during a raid on his Pakistani compound.
The revelation came from Pakistan’s main intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
The Daily Mail quoted an ISI official as saying that around 17 to 18 people were present inside the compound in Abbottabad during the time of the attack, and added that one of those who witnessed bin-Laden being shout in the head and chest was his 12-year old daughter.
Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has said Bin Laden was unarmed when he was shot, contrary to what the administration officials has earlier claimed that the terror leader resisted during the raid.
It also emerged that
Carney also confirmed that bin-Laden was shot in the head and in the chest, and that the woman, assumed to be one of his wives, was injured and not killed during the combat operation.
Bin-Laden’s body was buried at sea hours after Obama confirmed his death. (ANI)
