Hillary’s 60th birthday bash, that included performances from comedian Billy Crystal and rockers Elvis Costello and the Wallflowers, also saw her husband go gaga over her.

Addressing the supporters, who raised more than 1.5 million dollars with the event, Clinton noted that his wife was “still looking, I think, very beautiful” at 60 and said she was in the presidential contest for the right reasons.

“I’ve seen her now for more than half of her life. She was just 23 when we met. Poor child didn’t know any better not to talk to me. Two weeks ago today, we celebrated our 32nd anniversary,” the New York Daily News quoted him, as saying.

“I would campaign for her, if she asked, even if we weren’t married. I strongly feel we don’t have any margin for error,” he added.

When asked if he had given his wife a present, Clinton said, “No, I haven’t. Everybody wants to know what I’m giving her. But I haven’t told anybody.”

However, he did reveal later “what I’m going to do if she’s elected President. I’m going to do a remake of ‘Grumpy Old Men’ with him.”

It was the second major birthday fundraiser for the former first lady’s campaign this week.ovie director Rob Reiner threw a party for her at his Los Angeles home on Oct 21, with several Hollywood celebrities on hand.

The campaign has also used her birthday as an organizing tool, posting a video message on her campaign website by the former president urging supporters to send birthday greetings. (ANI)
