Beyonce named best-paid celebrity under 30

London, July 7 (IANS) Singer-actress Beyonce Knowles has trumped her chart rivals Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brother to be named the Best-Paid Celebrity Under-30 in a new Forbes magazine poll.
The R&B superstar, who is married to rap icon Jay-Z, raked in an estimated $87 million between June 2008 and June 2009 to top the survey, reports contactmusic.com.
The 27-year-old’s fortune came from a variety of projects as a singer, actress, fashion designer and brand ambassador for the likes of cosmetic company L’Oreal and computer game giant Nintendo.
She was placed ahead of Finnish Formula 1 driver Kimi Raikkonen, 29, and 24-year-old NBA hotshot LeBron James, who complete the top three.
Other stars to feature in the countdown include Spears, 27, who earned $35 million in the last 12 months, while teenage Disney sensations Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers tie in seventh place with Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe and the world’s highest-paid supermodel Gisele Bundchen with $25 million.
