Better ties with India beneficial to both, says China
September 16th, 2010 - 7:14 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, Sep 16 (IANS) China Thursday said enhanced cooperation with India is beneficial to people of both countries and asserted bilateral ties will not be affected by some individual cases.
China and India are neighbours and large, newly-emerging and developing countries, Xinhua quoted Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu as saying.
Enhanced cooperation and strengthened mutual trust between the two nations are beneficial to their people and conducive to world peace and development, Jiang said at a press briefing when commenting on China-India relations.
“We hope that the development of the overall situation of bilateral ties will not be affected by some individual cases,” she said. China and India have maintained very smooth exchanges on various levels and in different areas, she added.
