London, June 11 (ANI): ‘Best job in the world’ winner Ben Southall, who’s set to begin his tryst in Hamilton island, says he’ll miss the British summer and its festivities.
“Despite the weather, I love summer in Britain - the festivals and outdoor activities,” the Sun quoted him as saying.
“I’ll miss the long days we have. The island may boast a tropical climate but it gets dark at 8pm,” he added.
A charity worker, Southall emerged victorious among more than 34,000 hopefuls for a six-month post as caretaker of Hamilton Island off Queensland, Australia.
He said he would pine for Sunday dinners, adding: “It will be far too hot to cook anything like that.” (ANI)
