Washington, August 23, 2010 (Just Flashed): Rod Blagojevich happens to be the newsworthy but controversial former Governor of Illinois. A few days back, jurors had declared that Rod was culpable for lying to federal officers in a case. Rod had, however, also been the recipient of 23 additional graver arraignments. Nonetheless, the jury arrived at a stalemate on those 23 serious counts against Rod. One of those accusations against Rod was that he endeavored to vend the previous senatorial seat of the current American President, Barack Obama.
In the morning on Sunday, Rod was involved in a discussion on “Fox News Sunday’ with its host, Chris Wallace. Rod asserted on the program that he deemed that he will, at last, be declared guiltless and exonerated of all indictments against him. Rod declared that, after his exculpation, the possibility of him reemerging in the political world of America cannot be discarded.
The prosecutors have remarked that they will dedicatedly seek a conviction against Rod on those 23 counts. Nevertheless, Rod maintained on the show that he will be on the side of guiltlessness if that happens. Rod divulged that politics is the only subject about which he has knowledge. Politics means a lot to him. A career in politics is attached copious significance by him.
Rod happens to be a member of the Democratic Party that currently governs America.
