Berlusconi to return to work four weeks after Milan attack
January 10th, 2010 - 3:11 pm ICT by ANILondon, January 10 (ANI): Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is ready to resume work after recovering from injuries, following an attack in a rally in Milan.
The leader who suffered injuries on the face, when a man with mental illness hurled a statuette at him on December 13, said that he is now fit to return to work.
“I’m better now, I still have a little mark on my face, you can still see it, they tell me it will go away but unfortunately I’ve lost a tooth,” the Telegraph quoted him as telling La Repubblica.
He added: “From Monday I will be back at (the official Rome residence) Palazzo Chigi working on all fronts.”
Berlusconi has reportedly worked on a CD of love songs with guitarist Mariano Apicella, during the period.
He spent the four-weeks in his villas in Milan and in the south of France. (ANI)
