Dhaka, Aug 12 (IANS) A Bangladeshi filmmaker will make a movie on Kshudiram Bose, an Indian revolutionary who fought against the British and was hanged a hundred years ago. The film was announced at a function here by director Nurul Islam Milky, the New Nation newspaper said.
The film will be made under the banner of Umme Films. Kajal Rashid Shaheen has written the story and script of the film and carried out research on Bose.
The film is titled “Kshudiram”.
Born in 1889, Bose was one of the youngest revolutionaries in the country.
He was less than 20 when, along with Prafulla Chaki, he was sent to Muzaffarpur in Bihar to assassinate Kingsford, the district magistrate.
The mission was unsuccessful and cornered by the police Chaki committed suicide. Bose was later arrested and hanged.
