London, July 26 (ANI): Baloch and Sindhi expatriates living in London protested in front of 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister on Sunday to seek international intervention in the killing of innocent people in Balochistan.

They were protesting on the brutal murder of Baloch leader, Habib Jalib who was allegedly killed by the ISI recently in Quetta province.

Former senator Habib Jalib Baloch, secretary-general of the Balochistan National Party-M, was assassinated on 14th July. The World Sindhi Congress and the UK arm of the Baloch Human Rights Council organized the protests in a bid to raise awareness of the situation and garner support from the international community. The protestors condemned the brutal killing of the 58 year old leader.

“We demand that the international community to intervene because its not the first time Pakistan army and agency not only killed, already killed Bugti, Baloch Mari and many other thousands of people,” said 1.Mir Ghulam Sen of the Baloch Human Rights Council.

“At the moment, the situation in Balochistan is very grave. Day by day the army and the agency are kidnapping Baloch leaders and activists. So, we demand that the international community to intervene and to stop killing the political leaders who are innocent,” he added.

Sen also alleged that the Pakistani Army has been killing people from different communities including Christians.

He said that the Sindhis and the Baloch people are fighting together towards a single goal

“The force or the power which is disturbing Balochistan, which is creating havoc or intimidating the Baloch nation, it’s the same force which is also involved in destabilizing the region, Europe and America. They are the proxies of the ISI and which are active and Pakistani establishments supported from one which is as everybody knows it,” said Samad Baloch, Secretary General, Baloch Humarights Council.

“So, the forces which are hitting the Baloch social workers are the same on’e acting, destablising Afghan, India, America and Europe and the rest of the world. Everyone knows that India has given evidences, is a daily routine, where they go from. They are all trained and nourished, well equipped and transported by the ISI and the MI across the border and will the native and allied and similarly they have done it in India and so its not only the Baloch, that the world should realise and that. They should do something about it,” he added.

Akbar Bharak Singh, the President of the Baloch Human Rights Council, said that Balochistan has been facing turmoil as basic rights of the citizens have been denied.

Aslam Bulaidi, a former Senate member of Pakistan parliament, said that the human rights situation in Pakistan is getting worse day by day. (ANI)
