Austrian girl kills mother over Internet ban
April 14th, 2010 - 7:42 pm ICT by IANSVienna, April 14 (DPA) A 14-year-old girl has admitted to stabbing her mother to death in Vienna after being told not to use the Internet, police confirmed Wednesday.
The girl said she had not gotten along with her 37-year-old mother for a long time.
On Tuesday evening, the teenager came home and sat down right away to surf the internet, a police spokesman said.
The pair quarrelled after the mother forbade her daughter to use the computer.
After the argument was over, the girl went into the kitchen, took a knife and stabbed her mother several times, the girl told police.
