New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): Australian teams opening batsman Matthew Hayden on Sunday said that they would fight back in the third Test Match at Ferozeshah Kotla ground in New Delhi.

Australia trails the four-match series 1-0 against India.

Hayden told a news conference after his team had a nets practice session ahead of the third Test Match to be played from October 29.

“We are really concentrating on this game, it is a big game in the series and the game which Australia can fight back on,” said Hayden.

The Australian left-hander, who has not been in best of forms in the series, plans to make a comeback at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground.

“I hope to play to the best of my ability. I have good presence and good intent and that is important to my game and always has been,” said Hayden.

Hayden, who has been dismissed by Indian pacer Zaheer Khan three times in four innings of the series so far, said that he has a good record against the left-arm bowler.

“When a bowler is successful against you he knows that his strategy is working for him. But I believe, in my heart, that I have had an extremely successful time against Zaheer and he knows that as well. So, I think it’’s a good fight,” Hayden said.

Australia lost the second Test Match played in Mohali and the first Test Match at Bangalore had ended in a draw. (ANI)
