Aussies love booze more than sex, car, friends!
February 1st, 2010 - 12:50 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, February 1 (ANI): Australians love their pints so much that they would rather ditch their car, friends and sex than stay away from alcohol for a month, according to a survey.
The online poll, headed by charity FebFast, found that one in five drinkers would prefer to go without sex than remain without the bottle and the same number would lay off driving for four weeks if they had to choose between their wheels and pints.
While twelve per cent of the 1006 people quizzed confessed they would dump pals over booze, another 30 per cent said they would rather toss their mobile phones, reports the Couriermail.
One in 20 said they would favour not to sleep for the entire period than keep their distance from the bar.
As many as three-quarters added they would be able to stay sober for 28 days. (ANI)
