Aussie PM downplays Hillary Clinton’s gaffe

Melbourne, Nov 7(ANI): Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard has sought to downplay a faux pas from the United States’ top diplomat Hillary Clinton.
The US Secretary of State accidentally referred to Kevin Rudd as Prime Minister even though he lost the job in June.
“Not of any interest or consequence to me, just a slip of the tongue and there we have it,” News.com.au quoted Gillard as telling the Nine Network.
Rudd, who is now foreign minister, reportedly made no attempt to correct his American counterpart. (ANI)
