Attack On Royal Couple Of Britain Following Rise In University Fees

Dec 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall were attacked by student protesters on Thursday, while the royal couple were on their way to London Palladium for a theater performance. The attack was the outcome of the protests against the rise in university fees. It was pretty evident how much the couple were shaken as this was something they had never faced before in their life.
The furious mob kicked the Rolls-Royce badly in which the Prince of Wales and his better half were traveling. After this they daubed it in white paint and then a rear window was destroyed. However, they finally managed to reach their destination unharmed. A spokesperson for the royal couple said that the incident has left them shocked. After this shocking incident the royal security has been thrown to a good amount of questions. A source claims that after the Duchess of Cornwall reached London Palladium she was heard saying that she was fine, although terribly shocked since something like this had taken place for the first time in her life. Protests against the university fees is not something new. However, an attack on the royal couple based on this issue is certainly a new one.
The incident came up after MPs had voted for a triple amount of the university fees amounting to almost 9,000. Ever since trouble in the form of protests have been coming up in various parts of the capital city. The Prime Minister, David Cameron has expressed his concern saying that the incident is extremely shocking and regrettable. He said that those involved in this will strictly have to face the law.
