Sep 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sometimes, the pranks can be dangerous and even fatal. Asher Brown, a 13 year old student committed suicide last Thursday as he could not take the repeated taunts and bullying of her fellow students in his school. A reputed media source reported that 4 students of Hamilton Middle school used to tease Asher Brown as he was a gay.

The incident of Asher Brown’s death can is termed as “bullicide” by the media outlets. “Bullicide” occurs other kids bully a child and leave the child mentally wounded and harassed in such an extent that he finds no other option than taking away his life. Asher Brown’s parents are still shocked at the unfortunate incident and they told a reputed media source that they notified the school authorities many times but the authorities turned a deaf ear to all the complains. Amy Truong and David Truong, Asher Brown’s parents released a statement after the death of their son where it was stated that their son was “bullied to death”.

The statement also read that Asher Brown was teased by the fellow students for his small size, his religious preference and his mediocre clothes. The students also accused him of being a “gay” and they even performed mock-gay acts in-front of him to tease him. The morning parents said that their son came out as a gay last summer and they were fine with his homosexuality. The eyewitnesses said that the day before Asher Brown committed suicide he was severely insulted by his classmates. The law enforcement officials said that Asher Brown used his stepfather’s 9 mm Beretta to shoot himself. His mother said that she was outside for some work and when she returned home she found yellow tapes and police cars in front of her home.
