London, Sep 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Daily Mail in the United Kingdom has reported that Prince William will wed his longtime girlfriend, Kate Middleton during the second week of August 2011 at the Westminster Abbey. Daily Mail cited senior Abbey source for the information.

The report however said a date has not been confirmed but the period is tentative.

Others however suggest that the wedding could take place on August 31 2011, which is the 14th anniversary of the death of Prince William’s mother, Princess Diana.

Prince William who turned 28 years old on June 21 had previously told reporters that he would only marry when he was at least 28 years old.

Prince William had denied rumors of an engagement with Kate several times but Prince Julius Eduard von Anhalt of Saxony reportedly told reporters in Germany that Kate gave the Prince an ultimatum to marry her or the relationship will be over. Anhalt went further to tell the reporter that the engagement was set for July. He said that, “Kate issued William with an ultimatum, either we marry, or we break up. There are obviously no more objections from the public, so the engagement is set for this autumn. The wedding is set for July.”

The couple is yet to confirm the rumor or announce a date for the engagement.
