Anna Chapman plans to sue husband over ’spy’ claims
July 9th, 2010 - 5:00 pm ICT by ANILondon, July 9 (ANI): Alleged Russian spy Anna Chapman is planning to sue her husband for making false statements about her.
Robert Baum, her lawyer, said that the 28 year-old was furious over Alex Chapman’s statements, and the fact that he had publicized pictures of her in a state of undress.
“She asked me whether I could sue him for making false statements about her, I replied that ‘yes you can’,” The Telegraph quoted Mr Baum as telling Mrs Chapman’s Moscow-based sister Katya, according to the Russian newspaper Tvoi Den.
The couple had been living in London before they divorced in 2006.
Her husband has made public comments about her personality, background and behaviour that have strengthened suspicions that she is a Kremlin agent. (ANI)
