An earthquake shakes Halmahera, Indonesia with the intensity measuring 5.1 , occurred on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 18:21:39 UTC ( Coordinated Universal Time ) and Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 03:21:39 AM at epicenter local time reported by the U.S. Geological Survey..

The epicenter is at 111 km (69 miles) N (6°) from Ternate, Moluccas, Indonesia, 294 km (183 miles) E (83°) from Manado, Sulawesi, Indonesia, 995 km (618 miles) SW (232°) from KOROR, Palau with the depth of 114 km (70.8 miles) set by location program.

On September 30th, 2008, an earthquake shook Kepulauan Talaud , Indonesia with the intensity measuring 5.2.
