Perugia, Dec 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The verdict on the Amanda Knox case is expected soon. And in adequate preparation for it, her family has prepared 2 statements for either eventuality. If she’s acquitted, the family of Amanda Knox will rejoice and then hold a half-hour news conference at a Perugia hotel. However if that is not the case and Amanda Knox is found guilty, they’ll make a few statements, answer no questions and simply leave.

David Marriott, is the spokesman for the family of the 22-year-old West Seattle woman who is on trial for the November 2007 killing of British student Meredith Kercher, said he last spoke with Knox’s parents, Curt Knox and Edda Mellas, about an hour ago and then he came to know about their preparation for the verdict.

It may be recalled that, Amanda Knox, was a former University of Washington student who was studying abroad in Italy, and she fatally stabbed her British roommate to death in retaliation during a drug-fueled sex game.

“Amanda had the chance to retaliate against a girl who was serious and quiet,” Mignini said. “She had harbored hatred for Meredith, and that was the time when it could explode. The time had come to take revenge on that smug girl.”

Throughout the court proceedings, Amanda Knox appeared quiet tensed and worried, as if the jury was to convict her then she could end up facing a life –term. However there is still some time for the jury to decide, as the verdict would possibly come in early December.
