Kabul, Nov.11 (ANI): Afghanistan appears to be losing the fight against swine flu, as many parts of the country remain fairly unsanitary.

Kabul, which currently is the center of Afghanistan’s H1N1 outbreak, has over 450 confirmed cases. This has led to schools and universities being closed. Large public gatherings have also been banned, and people have been advised to wear masks, reports CBS News.The vurus has also affected the more than 300 foreign troops. A 140 suspected cases are American. Inoculation against swine flu for U.S. troops started Tuesday.
