Kabul, May 14 (Xinhua) Afghan President Hamid Karzai has condemned Tuesday’s serial blasts in India’s pink city of Jaipur that killed 63 people and injured 216. In a statement released by the presidential office Wednesday, the Afghan president termed the blasts as “an act of terrorism”, and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
“The people of Afghanistan who have suffered from terrorism over the past several years share the pain and sadness of the people of India,” Karzai said in his statement.
Eight bombs went off Tuesday evening in 15 minutes within a one kilometre radius in Jaipur.
