About 400 illegal passports recovered in Dubai
September 15th, 2010 - 1:21 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Sep 14 (IANS/WAM) In a crackdown on illegal immigrants in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Police have recovered 408 forged passports at various security points during the first six months of this year.
In 2009, a total of 628 illegal passports were recovered .
The comparison between the two statistics underlies the renewed effort by Dubai Police and law enforcement officials across the UAE in general to stamp out the use of illegal and forged passports.
