London, Sep 15 (IANS) Model Katie Price has claimed that she was raped by a “famous celebrity” and her ex-husband Peter Andre knew the identity of the person.
Contactmusic.com reports that the model, who is in the process of taking divorce from Andre, revealed that she had been the victim of a serious sexual assault but refused to give any details about the incident.

“A famous celebrity raped me and Peter knows who it was. It was years ago, before I was with Pete, and my friends and family knew about it at the time,” she told Britain’s OK! magazine.

Katie, 31, claimed she had been raped “more than once” after defending new boyfriend Alex Reid against allegations he starred in a movie which glorified sex attacks.

She previously said: “I was appalled by the headlines claiming he’d taken part in something which glorifies rape. This is completely untrue. Rape is a subject very close to my own heart, I was raped when I was younger, more than once. Needless to say, I’d never be associated with anyone or anything so sick. I’ve never talked about this before, but I feel I have to now because I was so hurt by those accusations that I would not take a subject which affects many women seriously.”

Following her revelation, Andre, 36, insisted he didn’t know about the incidents, prompting Katie to accuse him of lying and being cruel.

“I have no idea why he said he didn’t know. He’s not the Pete I knew anymore. He’s being really cruel when he knows exactly who did it,” she said.
